Ten years at Canyons, from instructor to Snowsports Director
Max Raju worked at Canyons for ten years, as a ski instructor, an operations manager and then Snowsports Director. Over that time Max designed how the school runs: the daily operation, the management systems, HR and reporting, extending on existing systems, patching things together to run the business.
Max also brings more than a decade of skiing and snowboarding and instruction in Japan and New Zealand, as a highly qualified snowsports instructor.
Max then spent many years as a software engineer building data-driven applications, and kept working with Canyons on its software throughout, knowing the operation from the inside.
Having worked at every level of Canyons’ operation, I built Active Manager to make running the business easier so we can all have more time doing what we love.
